Its just a week to go before the 2nd Tillingham Valley Rockabilly Races. You can still enter the race either online at Runners World or via the post - let us know if you need an entry form via our website – plus, of course, we will take entries on the day.
A reminder of the details:
Date: Saturday May 29th
Event: The 2nd Tillingham Valley Rockabilly Races
Location: Parsonage Farm, Udimore near Rye, East Sussex
Time: Walk the course, Children's Races, Fun Run and Dog Walkers from 2.00 pm. Main 5 mile race at 6.00 pm.
Terrain: Trail/Cross Country
In addition to the races there’s a barbecue, bar and live music from Rock ‘n’ Roll band The Memphis Flyers. So why not join us? Bring a picnic, enjoy the barbecue – but whatever you do – don’t go until the music stops!
A reminder too about the 5th Rye Summer Classic Series. This popular summer Friday night series goes from strength to strength and the first race in the series – the 10K – will be on Friday 16th July. Further races over 5K will take place on Fridays August 13th and September 10th. Entries are available for each individual race – or you can save yourself a few pounds with a series entry.
Entries are coming in thick and fast for the Bewl 15 on July 4th. This Sussex Grand Prix event is always popular and you are urged to get your entries in quickly to secure your place. Our summer race schedule is completed with the first running of the Charing 10K on September 4th.
Later in the year we have an addition to our Christmas season of races with the addition of a New Years Day race in a new, stunning location. The Scotney Castle New Years Day 10K looks set to be a cracker of an event with free entry to the fabulous Castle grounds included in your entry fee.
For more information on these or any other events, please visit Runners World or request entry forms via our website
A reminder too that we are still taking bookings for our 2010 overseas trips to Albert for The Somme Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K in September; the Amsterdam Marathon, Half Marathon and 7.5K in October and our trip to India in October for the Himalaya 100 Mile Stage Race.
