Entries still available for the Bewl 15 this Sunday

The 11th Bewl 15 Race take place this Sunday morning (4th July). There are still places available and you can still enter the race online at Runners World right up until midnight on Saturday. Alternatively you can reserve yourself a place by email. If you would like to reserve a place we need your name, date of birth, club (if any) and email address for confirmation.

We will also, of course, be taking entries on the day.

A reminder of the details:

Date: Sunday July 4th
Event: The 11th Bewl 15 Race
Location: Uplands Sports Centre, Lower High Street, Wadhurst, East Sussex TN5 6BA
Time: 10.30 am:
Terrain: Multi terrain

Can we remind you that because we are using chip timing you need to allow a little extra time when you arrive on Sunday so that you can park and then, at Race HQ, enter the race, obtain your timing chip, attach it to your shoe and then make your way to the start - which is about 10 minutes walk away.

The weather is set to be warm, if the forecasts are to be believed, so please make sure that you are adequately hydrated prior to starting the race - there will be plenty of water and drinks on the course.

For those travelling by train there will be shuttle transport available to collect you at Wadhurst Station and bring you to Race HQ.

If you have any issues on the day, prior to the start of the race, please come and see us on the Help Desk.

If you are looking for a shorter distance, the Podplus 3 Lakes 5K organised by our friends at Podplus takes place this Sunday. This charity 5K starts and finishes at the Julie Rose Stadium in Ashford. Entry forms can be found on the Podplus website, or you can enter online at Run Britain or Runners Worldor in person at the Podplus Shop based at the Julie Rose Stadium, Ashford.

The 5th running of the Rye Summer Classic Series begins this month. This popular summer Friday night series goes from strength to strength and the first race in the series – the 10K – will be on Friday 16th July. Entries are available for each individual race – or you can save yourself a few pounds with a series entry.

Finally, towards the end of the summer we have a new race - the Charing 10K - taking place on Saturday September 4th at 10.30 in the village of Charing off the A20 between Maidstone and Ashford. The race starts and finishes at Charing School to whom all race profits will be donated.

You now have a choice on online entry options for all of these races. As usual you can enter via Runners World. Online entries are also available via the UKA portal. You can also request a postal entry form by emailing us at info@nice-work.org.uk, visiting our website or calling 01797 230999.

More information, if you need it from us. You can email info@nice-work.org.uk or call 01797 230730.
